Meet our Multidisciplinary Council
The multidisciplinary council is a consultative committee working in collaboration with the executive director and the board of directors. The multidisciplinary council is composed of health and social services professionals, but does not include physicians, nurses, nurses' assistants and pharmacists.
Roles and responsibilities
The multidisciplinary council is accountable to the board of directors for:
- Forming peer review panels and to support them and provide framework for their projects.
- Making recommendations on the provision of appropriate care and services.

Assuming any other mandates entrusted to it by the board of directors.
The multidisciplinary council is accountable to the executive director for:
- Advising on the scientific and technical organization of any centre operated by the establishment.
- Advising on the means to be used to assess and maintain the professional standards of its members.

Advising on any other matters that the executive director brings to the council’s attention.
Goals of the multidisciplinary council:
- Ensure better communication within the organization
- Help professionals to improve their links and collaboration
- Develop the membership within a specific group.

- President - Hélène Bédard, nutritionist
- Vice president - France Gaudet, occupational therapist
- Secretary - Amie Deschamps, social worker
- Advisor - Hélène Fortin, physical rehabilitation therapist
